Globalisation and the digital divide produced modern types of slavery. For example, while there are people who get the benefit of 24 7 delivery, that delivery system brought abusive work condition to workers in Amazon’s warehouse. (refer the article). Also, comparison shopping engines produce severe price wars, encouraging online shopping companies to think how to reduce the price rather than their employees' burden. It contains the risk of illegal works, such as unpaid overtime work and the use of child labors. Those employees who don’t have enough access to the internet tend to have few choices of work and cannot leave from current jobs despite of their severe conditions.
