A play written by William Shakespeare, which is the last script as his solo piece.

It is set on a remote island, where the sorcerer Prospero, rightful Duke of Milan, restores his daughter Miranda to her rightful place using spirits by his magic power. His spirit Ariel makes a storm to cause his usurping brother Antonio and the complicit King Alonso of Naples to believe they are shipwrecked and marooned on the island. By Prospero's skillful manipullation, the king's son, Ferdinand and his daughter Miranda fall instantly in love. Everything seems to go as he planed, however inhabitant of the island Caliban who is enslaved by him plots to kill him due to making King Alonso's battler new king of the island.

Characters in my The Tempest

The Tempests inspired me

Crystal Pite's "The Tempest replica"

-Pite's manifest "Tell story through bodies"

-thinking Prospeso's relationship between other characters

-during first 30mins, show the plot of story with kind of stop motion, less fluent movement

-concentrate, elevate, exadulate, isolated emotions.

'Teatr Pieśń Kozła's "ISLAND / WYSPA 2017"

-Prospero is a lonely man with his desires, obsessions, longings.

-happening in the imagination of a demented old man Prospero, who chained in his prison is dreaming and stargazing. He creates all the characters that surround him.

-Everything has a form of dancing and musical poems.

-accompanied by acquiring vocal polyphony, mixed together with traditional Georgian songs.

-directed by Grzegorz Bral, and the author of songs and drama is Alicja Bral.

Thomas Adès's opera "The Tempest"

 - a variety of musical styles, from dissonance to tonality,

even a passacaglia for voices.

- The key of story is that Prospero regains his humanity after outsiders visit his island

- visually, musically beautiful ensemble work
